Ambient Weather Window?
« on: November 19, 2023, 04:36:35 PM »
https://ambientweather.com/awn-weather-window

This ad popped up on my AWN dashboard today. Has anyone ever heard of this? To me it seems like a rather expensive product looking for a purpose. I suppose it could be of some value to someone who wants a weather display console but lives in an apartment or condo where the HOA rules don't allow mounting an outdoor sensor array.

Thanks for sharing.  I had not seen that yet.  It is interesting and I'm sure some people would really like it.  For me, the small size, high price, and lack of 3rd-party compatibility/flexibility to show non-weather stuff means I won't be buying one.  I still have plans to make my own tablet/monitor displays that will display whatever I can show with a web browser.

Unfortunately I have one . Slow , lousy WI/FI connecting .Just not good at all. The kind of product you want to stay away from. Bought this so that my girl friend can have easier time with weather conditions than figuring out WS-2000 display .Had some spare change hanging around and rest is history. Waiting for warranty exchange should be Monday, not holding much hope . I will post update with replacement unit .

I purchased this unit as soon as I received notification from Ambient Weather, December, 2023.  I have not had any issues except an occasional "server down" message which would reboot momentarily.  The supplied usb power cord length was short for my WeatherLab set-up location.  I ordered a usb power cord adapter for the extra length.
