Wunderground Blocked Station!
« on: August 04, 2024, 01:38:03 PM »
My Access is failing to report to Wunderground. It is still picking up a signal, and reporting to Myacurite, but is not doing anything on Wunderground. Is this how the Access fail when they die?
Edit... Nothing wrong with Access, Wunderground BLOCKED my station! Once I changed to my other stations ID, by shutting down meteobridge, and swapping ID's to that station, the Access worked fine. I will just create a new account and see if I can run a Meteobridge Wunderground on a new ID.

Maybe they are blocking AcuRite now, like they did with Netatmo

It was really odd. The station is reporting again on it's normal ID. I'm wondering if the station threw some weird out of range data, and that caused it to stop working?

My WU had an "Outage" yesterday while everything else from MB worked fine. Then I had to log in again this AM.

It's not you, it's Wunderground.

WU has some kind of a quality check, if the numbers are off from their reference (don't know how they fix the reference value, as the values are dynamic) the station's data will not be shown on Wundermap. Once the readings reach normal values according to WU, then the station will be visible on Wundermap. If you have the station bookmarked, you can always see the data, but others won't be able to see unless they have a link to the station.
