I got a deal on a Dell Optiplex 7050 i7-7700 3.6ghz with a 1Tb NVMe to replace the weather computer Dell Optiplex 790 i5-4500.  I am also going to order the DIY datalogger from Scaled Instruments to try out.

Santa brought a new downstairs maid (we don't  have an upstairs?). Actually it's a Eufy robocleaner and negotiations are still under way on a shiny red used Cadillac SRX in Dallas. But then things went south on Christmas Eve as the water system failed. We had sporadic water into and all day Christmas. It's better this morning and I got a load of laundry done. I only live a quarter mile from the Lake, but getting it processed and through the pipe to my house seems to be a problem. I guess I got a present and a lump of coal?
