Topic: SDR - why not use repos?

Toying w/Pi, why would this not be a good install/recommended? Maybe it’s why I occasionally don’t have wind etc showing? Though I’d ask before another rebuild test.

sudo apt install rtl-433 rtl-sdr weewx (choose Simulator for setup)

sudo wee_extension --install weewx-sdr.zip

sudo wee_extension --install weewx-forecast-3.4.0b12.zip

sudo vi /usr/share/weewx/user/sdr.py

change line 2819 to read:
pkt = Packet.add_identifiers(pkt, sensor_id, PrologueTHPacket.__name__)

sudo wee_config --reconfigure --driver=user.sdr --no-prompt

Finish up w/weewx.conf, belchertown skin…
