Topic: Midland WR120 not receiving alerts

I bought a radio recently and although my phone and weather apps were getting local alerts my radio was not. I've checked that it's on the right frq and that the counties are correct and that the event/alerts are on for all types but still doesn't display. Checked all settings multiple times and even reset the radio and started over with no luck. It doesn't even get the weekly radio test so I'm thinking its defective?

Try inserting new batteries. That helps.
