Ecowitt.net API
« on: November 14, 2020, 02:38:57 AM »
Hello everybody
I have a weather station that is configure to upload its online data to Ecowitt.net
https://www.ecowitt.net/home/index?id=21258
I want to get access to the data appearing at Ecowitt.net using GET commands.
where can I find the syntax of the available commands? This is for my research project, so it has to be done this way only, not through uploading to other clouds and not by connecting to the station directly.
Hope for your assistance

Not possible. They don't offer a method to query for data from the site.

Please explain your research project further so that we can understand your stipulation.

Yes there is an Export button to download the current view and it will produce a .xlsx file.

I know there is an Export button, but I need it to be operated automatically by software and not by a person in the website.
On your previous answer yous said that there is no command to GET the data.
Is there any possible POST command to "push" the EXPORT button ?

I said there was no method of querying for data, as in no GET, no POST, no API. There is only the manual Export button.

You didn't explain your project and why you have this stipulation. Why is getting data directly from the station console not a solution?
