any idea if this update has caused issues with sending to wu ?
seems mind stopped around the time i upgraded , still sending ok to eocwitt.net and weathercloud
not sure if there are any accessible logs on the gw1000 ? v1.5.8

Not sure if its a dns lookup issue on the gw1000, either length of data return, or length of cnames

GW1000 running 1.5.8 with no issues uploading to WU.

There are no logs to check on the GW1000.

Your test with "Customized" only maybe proves that maybe there is a problem with "Customized" upload feature using WU protocol. I recently tried to use "Customized" with WU protocol and I was not able to upload to PWSweather.

Something odd going on, may need to do a packet capture from another device and see what its doing.
the customized test worked ok using a WU ip address, but not the normal hostname used, as per their documentation, which i can only assume is also used in the wu settings of the gw1000.
running netcat on a pc listening on port 80, can see the url format sent from the gw1000
note:did the dns lookup on the wrong window, currently using cloudflare 1.1.1.1  , may try change it to another one and see if it starts working.

I also noticed the issue today that there is no data submitted to weatherunderground - no clue why....

I'm noticing that WU is having issues updating today. I'm seeing this across the board with all brands of weather station and software. There are no rapidfire updates. Everything is minutes delayed.

i have a gap of about a week in WU.
changing dns server to 8.8.8.8 and seems it started working again.
without any logs from the unit or a packet capture, no idea of the root cause.
but reloading it a few times didnt fix it... will chalk it up to gremlins, if it happens again will re plumb so i can capture packets from it

I'm noticing that WU is having issues updating today. I'm seeing this across the board with all brands of weather station and software. There are no rapidfire updates. Everything is minutes delayed.

I've only been watching recently (this month), but I've noticed that WU seems to only do the rapid fire updates at night and in the early mornings. During the day it switches to minutes delayed. But even then I still see some updates happening, like wind, when the time still says it hasn't updated yet.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like some issues with wu/DNS resolved

based on the popup release notes
1. Optimize upload Wunderground DNS IP address.
2.Support for receiving 8 channels of WN34.
