Ken,
I love the new feature on the status page, tell me immediately when an update is available on one of your scripts.

Here a thought that crosses my mind :
If someone has a problem with their website and it's reported here, you can go their status page and check if they are up to date without extra running the check-fetch-times.php
But if they not running the latest "status program"  you still have to check.
Why not include in "include-wxstatus.php" a sentence in small prints that says which status version has done the check. So you see immediatly on the status page that the status program itself is up to date.

It's up to you to implement such thingy or not. (Probably there are more important on your list).

Maybe it can be nice that you can put in a variable ?
I mean you can just print "checked by status <version>" , or when "checked by status" is a variable I can change it in to "checked by Ken's weather-trolls",....

Was just an idea of me , up to you what to do with it

I added the following comment to the top of my version of the file so my old addled brain didn't have to remember the options:

Since I run WD and Cumulux MX side by side, is there a way to do a check versions on my "other" software?  I typically run WD as primary.  Wondering of there is a way to check versions on the Cumulus version.

At present, no, the version checker function only checks the Plugin files based on the current contents of Settings-weather.php
While it is possible to use parts of one Plugin side-by-side with the primary Plugin, only the primary Plugin versions can be checked at this time.
