meteobridge to Weatherlink cloud
« on: August 06, 2019, 03:37:36 AM »
I currently use meteobridge to get data from my Davis VP2 to various spots on the net.  Is there a way to use the metobridge to get data to the Davis Weatherlink Cloud?

If it can't be done with the Meteobridge, is there another way to do it and still keep my Meteobridge in place?

I was wondering the same thing. The only way it seems is to buy Weatherlink Live or get another console and data logger. You can still keep your Meteobridge running, but those are both very expensive options to only upload to one more site.

Anything Davis will typically upload to WeatherLink.com, something like an Envoy/Console and WLIP or WLL which is basically two systems (MB & Davis) feeding of the one set of sensors

How is it that WiFiLogger can upload to Weatherlink.com and Meteobridge can't? Is this something that can be requested from Boris to add?

I did a little Googling and found https://weerhuisje.nl/en/product-info/meteobridge/c-128.  I haven't tried it yet:

Keep using weatherlink together with meteobridge.

Resolve the IP address of the meteobridge.
Check minimum SW version on the WUS02> system tab> system> SW version> Meteobridge 2.5 (xxxx).
SW version lower than 2.5? Get an updated license.
Open the Weatherlink program on your PC.
Go to Setup > Communications port
In the Communications block, select: TCP / IP
Select "Remote IP address" and enter the Meteobridge IP address.
Click OK. You can now download the weather data from the data logger.
