I got questions about the end-of-live (June 2021) of the DarkSky forecast.
For those willing to upload to WU
=> there is already the WU-API 7 day forecast
For those willing to upload to PWS_Weather
=> the (for them free) Aeris-Weather (AW) forecast is now being tested at https://pws.sluispark.be/

If one does not upload to WU or PWS there is the yr.no forecast which  is ready now and included in this month new release. Attached a screenshot of the block and the pop-up
Yr.no does supply a nice PDF used as a separate page, example https://www.yr.no/place/Belgium/Flanders/Leuven//forecast.pdf

Sadly both yrno and  AW do not have the same larger forecast-texts as DarkSky or WU.
Also both yrno and AW support only English language texts.  The dashboard-translation files will miss some words the first months until all sentences have been around.

Hello wvdkuil

kindly check your Yr.No script, all of US including mine too it says "NB! Read the comments in the apiChanges section in the XML" on every output, I think they changing their web page API.

regards

Mike

Well they  goofed. They wanted to put this message about the changes next year to us.

NB!!! Since we have no other options to contact our users of forecast.xml, we have decided to use this method to get your attention to some major changes with our API
In the first quarter next year, forecast.xml and forecast_hour_by_hour.xml will be discontinued in favour of a newer JSON API.
Vi encourage you already now to switch to the new API.
There are a lot of changes, and you can read all the technical details in our new developer portal https://developer.yr.no
But they also changed a lot of other fields for every forecast line with the smaller message.
So their users, such as you I presume, will not be happy.

Wim

EDIT: After 1 hour all forecast still have the hidden message => OK
The annoying messages in the icon-name and wind-fields are gone for now => OK
