Just use DB for now, this is going to be problematic, I did test it with my static clientraw and it worked, this is really strange, especially since the today min/max is calculated by the same function no matter what the update type is.

OK, I fixed one other issue with the temp/dew gauge (it always starts from zero after update).
But there is no point in releasing a fix if there are more problems, right now I know the WD option does not work. Im curious if Cumulus does. The problem is that unlike in other cases, here I cannot test it with someone´s clientraw, since it combines data from db with realtime, if these two dont match, its not going to work and produce nonsense, which does not tell me if it works

Jachym,

Are you aware of this realtime SteelSeries solution that can be set up using Meteobridge?

http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/setup-Meteobridge.php

I have it up and running here: http://www.wessexweather.net/saratoga/wxssgauges.php

Does yours work in the same way, or does it just update the gauges every 5 minutes as the database gets updated?
Cheers,

Simon (WessexWeather)

Hi,
no, the update script is completely different, it uses a completely different script than the original SS gauges, since it also loads data from the db for the summary, max/min etc.

OK, I need someone to switch the gauges to WD option and then send me the URL of their SS plugin as well as URL of their clientraw, I cannot do this myself on my server, I have to see output of someone using db and WD at the same time

Right, I know why.... ok, I think I know how to fix it, it is all because of the unit conversions. Lets hope so...

One other thing I noticed.
I don't have solar but the graph icon for solar still shows.  Picture attached.

OK, I will look at that, meanwhile, try the attached script and let me know if it fixed the T issue and the date issue

Tom check in your settings if you have the solar gauge disabled

Meteotemplate - Plugin Update - SteelSeries 1.1

Plugin Update - SteelSeries 1.1

Hi guys,

based on your feedback I fixed couple of issues:

WD and Cumulus now parsed correctly
temperature gauge now does not go to zero upon each update
It is possible there still are some bugs, so let me know if you find something. After you replace the original files with this one, just run the setup again, your settings is saved separately and it will only update the settings file.

Which update type did you choose, the database?

OK, then you have to disable the UV, UV is not saved in the database, this only works for the other update options.

I think I know just make sure none of your limits are "0", if you set 0 for the temp minimum, just use 0.01 or something like that, that should do it for now

I had to set temp min to 1.
Working good now.

The gauges are working fine (Cumulus) http://www.komokaweather.com/j-template/plugins/steelSeries/index.php#/

I would like to move the precipitation gauge down with the rain rate but haven't found a setting to change the number of gauges per row.  It that possible?

Paul

Hi Paul,
I guess not at the moment, the reason I did it like this is so that it scaled based on your monitor size, if I made fixed number of gauges per row, it would mean that it could either overflow on small screens or lead to redundant scrolling on wide screens
