March isn't that far away. Just about enough time to obtain, fabricate, and test a Blitzortung receiver.
Last year the USTOA doubled in size, and it'd be cool to at least do that again in time for Spring Storms. Coverage is thin in the Good ol' US of A, and more stations mean better tracking and location.
What a great way to knock off a couple of miserable winter days, nice and cozy inside, building up the boards
And soldering pencils work pretty well at warming cold fingers also. Uh... do not wrap fingers around them tightly, however, whilst plugged in.
