First Station (WS-2902)
« on: August 26, 2020, 12:43:23 AM »
Started the new year off with a interest in weather stations, and weather in general, and around late April I went and got myself a WS-2902B. A bit limited on where I was able to put it, but it's the best that I can do. It's about 12 feet off the ground. Sturdy enough to survive the recent Derecho event. The station is taller than the hedges it's near, and the trees are a good distance, but I'm sure the house and the trees do affect the wind readings.

I assume it's safe to say that the backboard is now merely decorative. 8-[

Oh completely, hasn't been touched for years, which made it a great candidate for mounting.
