Topic: Problem getting US shipping to UK

Hi,

I’m trying to buy a first alert RM4 module which gives a relay output from the interconnect wire of smoke detectors, there are lists of US and Canada sellers online including eBay, but either they do not ship or the cost is horrendous, for example the part is from $11 but shipping I’ve seen on eBay up to $230!!!!

Is their a intermediary organisation which buys using a US address and then ships on?

Ironically I know the RM4 can’t be used directly due to the voltage difference, I want to open the unit to see if it can be modified or redesigned for my purpose.

amazon but dont expect it to arrive as per quoted delivery time . should get the whole thing inc shipping,local taxes if any for under 50$ https://www.amazon.com/First-Alert-RM4-Smart-Relay/dp/B0039PF21U if this is want your referring to .. if it ships by usps us postal service then expect a very long delay or even if its accepted or if and when they lift the restriction on overseas parcels dont confuse it with ups . i have a watch a casio protrek https://www.amazon.com/Casio-PRG-270-1-Triple-Multifunction-Digital/dp/B00ENCRBO4?ref_=ast_sto_dp has not moved anywhere since march 29th .

True, it certainly is weird time’s, I searched for ages and you spotted Amazon shipping to UK straight away, that was like me searching for socks at home lol.

I’vet placed the order and I’ll keep my fingers crossed 😊
