Back on line.
We drove (the wife drove, I read the maps) from here through WIsconsin, to Ontario. From there across and down to Vermont. From Montpeiller to St. John. Used the Digby Ferry and visited Lunenburg ( Gotta go to the Salt Shaker Deli .. Best Pizza Ever), Mahone Bay, Hubbards, Antigonish, Cheticamp, Amherst, back into the US at Calias (Don't eat at the pizza shop after the border crossing), Then down the Maine Coast to Rockland, (Berry Manor is excellent. The Admiral Inn sucks big time. ) then to New Hampshire to visit a friend of the wife's. Came down across New York State, dipped down into Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and home. The wife hates interstate highways, so we used the red county roads. Took longer but we made it home before it rained.
Saw a lot of ruined farm fields in Indiana and Illinois. Looked like some folks lost their crops for good due to wind, rain and flooding. Route detours for over the road water.
Anyway, home. Gone a month and need to get back into the groove.
