No, firmware update do not need to make setup again.
When you will put new firmware, then it will start to send email to new proper Globe email.
I cant say why they changed that.

It can also be used by other users. So why not put the new firmware online instead of just sending it to me?

Correct, and that is how I have it too.  I misspoke/confused... I get messages from both Weatherlink.com on daily data and from globe.wifilogger at about the same time.
But glad you have raised this issue.  I keep getting the daily emails with the uploaded data and haven't been checking the Globe site, and now just noticed it hasn't been updating since Nov 30. 


Needs some investigation.

If possible it would be better to release an update online for both wifilogger 1 and wifilogger 2. This solves the problem

Firmware 2.36 is underconstruction, but all features are working.
I need to repair CWOP and do some things to release it.

The 2.36 I believe is for the wifilogger 2, I have the wifilogger 1 with firmware 2.30. The wifilogger 1 with firmware 2.30 has only Globe not working, otherwise it works fine. Sco by uploading data to all clouds including CWOP

I'm testing the experimental 2.36 firmware for wifilogger 1. I want to clarify that all the uploads under the 'data export setup' item work, I'm uploading to all clouds.
Globe works too.
