ImageSalsa replacement
« on: July 08, 2020, 07:42:10 AM »
Been a very long term ImageSalsa user for many many years now, but I'm now no longer able to get weather data added to images as I once used to. See my signature image that's been done with ImageSalsa.

Looking for something to replace it, so that I can do signature images, webcam images stamped with weather data.

So what does everyone use these days?  :)

ImageSalsa is still working for me using VWS on Win10 latest build.  (See avatar and sig.)

I would suggest that you check your ImageSalsa settings before giving up on it.

Yeah, I'd love to keep using it as it'd mean no cost and no work to migrate to something else.

The vws tags aren't coming through with it for some reason, which is why I feel I need to change to something else.

VWS and/or ImageSalsa settings?  I would thoroughly review them all...

I had to revise my settings when I cloned my Athlon to my Ryzen7.

I had to revise my settings when I cloned my Athlon to my Ryzen7.

The settings worked fine, then suddenly they stopped working for me, the WD output for vws files never changed format, but just stopped reading them for some reason.

This looks very interesting as it uses WD's clientraw.txt file as an input.

Would like to think that I can move that text in to a different location on the image, rather than it's fixed location though.
