What do you think new EBL batteries lithium ( non-rechargable ) ?
Not sure if these can be used with Ecowitt sensors etc ? - let me know , I would like to try them
Might be an alternative to the Energizer Ultimate AA batteries , I currently use

10% 1 star reviews on Amazon is pretty bad ...https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B08SWJYJ2Q/ref=acr_dpx_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar

In my opinion, an Amazon product that has 2% 1 stars is pretty good. 4% to 5% is acceptable. Beyond that I consider that the item is not a good choice. Of course, one still needs to evaluate the product specs and features etc.

Speaking as a retailer - is Energizer Ultimate AA batteries the only trusted battery everyone uses .
I would still like to give the EBL Batteries a chance , I know they can have batch problems etc..
I have personal dumped 24 x 40 pack of AA Batteries because of leaking cells etc .( Eclipse brand )
Not many 1.5 volt AA batteries to choose from down here in New Zealand as the shipping cost is expensive .

@Rocketman:
you may be personally interested in different types of batteries and their performance etc. - but you are now way off-topic with this post in the Ambient Weather and  Ecowitt and other Fine Offset clones board/(sub-) forum.

It rather belongs to the Other Weather Topics (https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?board=23.0) or the Tech Corner (https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?board=96.0) section.

As an add-on to an existing thread it can make sense - but, imho, not as a separate thread.

let's stay here with the directly Ambient Weather and  Ecowitt and other Fine Offset clones related things.

I guess when the moderator reads it, he will move it into one of these boards.

The energizers work fine as a lot of us know. They are also the easiest to get (for me) my local drug store carries them. I also , tend to use alkaline batteries as I don't have real bad temperature extremes.

I see no problem in you trying the EBLs and the sensors are not going to care.
Although, I do feel , this is off topic still for this forum.  If you wanted to ask a question on this , I would have changed the topic to a question, like , "Will EBL AA Lithium batteries work in the sensors?" , and have posted a link to what you are buying. Otherwise, this topic will just go downhill.

WS80, WS90, WH40, WH31, WH32, WH51, WFC01

I use these for everything, they are basically the same price as brand name Alkaline and are 10x better.

It's not a question of "will" as an AA battery by spec is 1.5V so any device made to take AA/1.5V batteries will work with any AA/1.5V battery. More the question is for how long as mAH ratings do vary. One wouldn't want to be paying much more for these than some other AA batteries with similar ratings
