Oscar unexpectedly strengthened into a hurricane just earlier today, and peak winds are expected to reach 85 mph. Hurricane Warnings are in effect for the Turks and Caicos Islands.  In three hours, it went from 40 to 80 mph. Link

I checked NHC, it appears Oscar made landfall in Cuba

Oscar did make landfall in Cuba, and apparently I did not know they had radar sites in Cuba  :shock:
