I have a feeling it will be a rather Ho-Hum season. Last few filled with extreme stuff.....it's just that....extreme. Can't happen all the time or it would be common.
David Phillips, Senior Climatologist up this way, commented what seemed quite logical. ['loosely quoted'] "With the expectation of Nino moving out and 'sort of' Nina settling in, one might expect it to not be super warm like last season, but more to the normal, which these days, is by nature, a bit warmer than we were used to 'as kids'."
He and the host, and myself, would have been kids sliding down mountains of snow in the 60's, 70's, 80's......
He commented that the temps are of the Nina variety, but not to any extreme so far.
