I tried to help the public out by changing the name of my station to "Only Accurate Station" but that just pissed a bunch of the other guys off. Which was my point, to get them to fix their garbage data. We used to sit around the weather office at the airport and joke about how the bank thermometers were more accurate than some of the PWS sites. I see this morning the dew point temperatures range from 3°F to 45°F. Gotta love it.  =D>
Some people just don't like advice or helpful criticism. My view is if they like reporting bad data that's there problem. I my self am OCD when it comes to accuracy. I do thank God that I have a tolerate HOA. So in the defense of less than ideal stations that they are sited in stricter communities.
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.
