The WordPress Weather Station plugin does work with the Davis API V2.  Some folks get confused with the length of the API key.  Read the thread at: https://weather.station.software/community/bugs-issues/weatherlink-api-key-format-problem/

I'm not actually talking about adding the weather station using the newer V2 (32 character) API. Adding the weather station using the first 20 characters work just fine. Its how the plugin pulls data from WeatherLink V2 API that's the problem. It won't output weather data at all. To quote Pierre Lannoy (plugin developer)...
@Ya-Yo Gakk,  sorry!  I misunderstood what was happening to you.   I actually run some Python code that I created to extract the data directly from the WeatherlinkLive box using the local API.  My Python code outputs a realtime.txt file that is read by the plugin. That works for me because my Web server is hosted locally on the same network as my WeatherlinkLive box.  That arrangement would not be a good solution for someone running a hosted WordPress site, which is what most folks are doing.
Good luck with your search for another solution.

Is it OK to hijack this thread please?

I have been running the weatherlink software for about 3 weeks now and thought all was going well until I compared the wind directions on the different feeds. This is our weather page: http://glassonsailing.co.uk/wp/home/weather/

The shortcode links at the top are showing the wind from SW but the little icon in the footer says "wind from ENE" as does the Weatherlink bulletin. In the WeatherStaion 3 , Version 3.8.11 | By Pierre Lannoy,  I have the setting "pointing towards the degrees" but changing it to the opposite doesn't seem to make any difference?  Thanks

I'm not sure what the question is really? Conventionally, wind direction always refers to the direction that the wind is blowing from. Why you would ever have an option to show the reverse direction, and why it might appear to make no difference in that 'Weather station 3' software is probably a question for the program's author. I'm not sure that many other people here use that software - maybe it has its own forum somewhere?

Sorry, but I don't usually have time to help with individual issues by email unless you are a Prodata customer. Please post your issue in the relevant forum section here & I will comment there if I have anything useful to add.

WeatherStation 3 Software

.
Thanks for PM received yesterday kClifton, it looks like I could have a long wait from the  WeatherStation 3 Software Forum, so perhaps I shall look out for alternative software. Meantime I have added a little text below the wind rose on our web page: http://glassonsailing.co.uk/wp/home/weather/

this is my current setting:

As said before, changing it seems to make no difference.
