Earthquake prediction
« on: January 30, 2010, 11:53:24 AM »
I have become a fan of James Berkland. He has a book about him "The Man that Predicts Earthquakes"

He uses the moon position and tidal forces to predict where quakes will happen

http://www.syzygyjob.com/

His book http://www.amazon.com/Man-Who-Predicts-Earthquakes-Geologist-How/dp/1591810361 is very interesting.
He references the 1964 Good Friday quake, he predicted to SF World series quake and the 2004 Tsunami.

Like anything else, (like my barometer theory) he misses a few but it is very interesting

Please discuss.

Is he so good that he can predict the Jones earthquakes in Oklahoma that just keep happening from time to time with no explanation as to what's causing them?

Also the 2nd home page using modified AltDashboard 6.95 at http://stillwaterweather.com/2ndhome.php

Near the time of the full moon

Is it a coincidence?

Just hope everyone stays safe.

Look  at the forums on his site.

I was thinking he said  The full moon at time of perigee makes a stornger pull. Like what is happening now.

Unfortunately, I have his book at school
