Wanted - Ecowitt outdoor unit
« on: January 16, 2022, 08:39:33 AM »
Anyone got a spare Ecowitt 868 MHz outdoor unit with windspeed they want to offload cheap!?

I thought I might try and get one just for development purposes with Cumulus MX. It would only be for dev/test so I don't want to spend much ;)

Sorry Mods - I just realised there is buy/sell sub-forum, but I cannot delete this message

Just a note to say that I have had an offer of a WS80 that has some damage but is probably serviceable enough for my purposes. I'll get back here if this proves unsuitable.
Thanks.

OK thanks, but I expect the WS80 will fulfil my needs, if not then let's explore Ecowitt. I don't need or want any excess kit - read the query from significant other "What's all this stuff for, cluttering up the place!" or "Not more stuff going up outside is there!"
