Significant Rainfall discrepancy between MyAcurite and Weather Underground

I have a 5-1 with an AcuRite Access. On Weather Underground (KNHFRANC27) i am reporting rain in the 10,000's of inches  on a given day  (Precipitation   754,976.44 in for August ).
MyAcurite shows 2.64 inches for same time period. Obviously something is wrong with the  Weather Underground report. I am not sure where to look or how to resolve this issue.
