Wind graph issues
« on: April 14, 2009, 08:33:21 AM »
This happened after I switched computers and upgraded.  I came from a Version 12 install.  I forget the exact version.  But I went to V14 P65 on a new Vista machine.  Ever since then, my wind graph doesn't auto scale.  It just is stuck at 89 mph as the top speed.  I turned the auto scale off for now for this picture.  But it looks like this, just with 89mph as the top.   And here is a pic off my old PC from the date I migrated.  Is this an issue in P 65?

This has been a known issue for some time now.  I have reported it to Ed and it is on his "to do" list, but I don't think it is very high on the list.  The last response I got from him was that it would take a major rewrite to fix the issue.  On my site, I just switched to the Wind Gust graph.  It does rescale and I actually ended up liking the information better.....

You could also plot gusts then add wind.

OK, well that's good to know.  Thought something might be screwed up in my new installation.

I switched to the Wind Gust option.  I think that will work just fine.

Thanks for the help.
