Make sure your phone is only connected to 2.4 and not the 5 . I would shut of data ( 3.g 4.g )  on your phone also just to make sure .  IMPORTANT: • When trying to establish your station’s Wi-Fi connection, be sure your mobile device is on the same 2.4GHz   network you want your station to use. Check the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.• During setup, weather station and mobile device must be in close proximity.• Weather station must be powered with power cord for the Wi-Fi to work
