Starting off 2009 on a good note training wise!

At this time it appears that these are all basic classes but that may change as we go along!

Usually they'll add a couple advanced classes later in the spring.

I've taken the basic class but haven't been able to catch the advanced one yet.

Got the basic class in Rocky Mount last fall then was able to schedule the advanced class one week later in Rustburg. If it had been more than one week apart I'da forgot everything I learned the first time.

I think I'll review my notes before I take the advanced class.  It's been two or three years since my basic class.

Rustburg's a little too far for me, especially at night.  Sometimes one of the advanced classes are around Roanoke or Christiansburg, but I usually have work conflicts when that happens.

Same here Kevin !!
I have taken about 3 basic classes some from Morristown NWS and some from Blacksburg NWS...the last one being in Bland.
I think there was an advanced class in Bluefield at WVVA tv last year but as usual I was gone the day it took place.

Hows things going up the road in Roanoke ??

Wayne,
Looks like you may be out of luck this year.  They've scheduled an advanced class in Chatham on April 9th, but that's all at this point.  I sent an email to Phil Hysell and his reply was that there may be an advanced class scheduled in Bedford, which I imagine would be out of your driving range.

It sure does! I don't know if Morristown Tn is doing anything advanced closer to my area this year or not. I don't know if Howard Waldron is still in charge of that sort of thing down there anymore or not.
Bedford is a little farther than I had planned on :-)  but anythings possible I guess LOL!

My first classes were out of MRX back when this county was in their CWA jurisdiction.. Maybe we should suggest an online advanced recert :)
