Did you happen to notice the discussion of 'Categories' on a news site or two?

TWC needs to be deleted from all cable and satellite systems.

Yeah, and since they took over, they're running Wunderground underground.

That's a good point.

Well, this morning on Good Morning America they announced that their weather guy was going to TWC. Lots of fanfare and showing of past weather coverage went along with the hoopla. Looks like TWC is getting yet another hyper that will just make it even worse than it already is.

Winter Creep.  Can it be a winter storm, if it is not winter yet? But it is meteorological winter

Duluth, MN has reported 28.5 inches so far and a few more to go.
Lake effect snow when the wind blows out of the east for three days.

We really need to start a campaign to get people to turn The Worst Channel off.  There are so many other sources now, it really isn't even needed.

Maybe a message on some of your websites?

I had a lot of respect for Sam Champion. Don't get me wrong he's one of those "Newsy Weather" people, where the weather only matters in NYC, LA, Chicago, Houston, and Philly. But he seemed a little less obnoxious in front of the camera than others.

However, I will not be watching him on The Roker..I mean Weather Channel.

ROTFLMAO!!!

He said "the Roker Channel"  LOL

Oh Lord knows how I detest that channel and their superior "I know more than the National Weather Service" attitude. Besides the fact that 45 minutes out of every hour is stupid commercials.. the info, when it gets there is generally wrong or for their favorite places: NYC, Boston, Philly, Chicago, Atlanta... well that pretty much covers their pitiful "coverage" to wit I say in utmost disrespect and hatred.

If this should offend anyone at TWC... GREAT! I succeeded. Go away and let the real meteorologists from the NWS and NOAA handle the weather. ..

We now break for 15 minutes for these important commercial messages.....

But I do enjoy "Prospectors" and "Coast Guard Alaska" when they're not interrupting their programming with guys falling down snowpiles while tracking Winter Storm "Alfred E. Neuman".
I kind of enjoy watching Amanda try to keep it together while digging aquamarine... .
