Heat Stress
« on: May 12, 2013, 06:19:13 PM »
Hello. My name is Åke and I live in Tenerife (Canary Islands). I have a “Davis Vantage Pro 2” station, and the “Internet Edition” of “Virtual Weather Station” (14.01).

I selected the parameter "Heat Stress" of "Alpha Numeric" but don’t show any data, only a small stripe.

I don’t found help in the instructions of “Virtual Weather Station”. It just says that “Heat Stress” is calculated by the program.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks and regards.

My current data:

1018.77 hPa. Out Temp, 20.09 ºC. Out humidity, 87%, Wind speed (dayly high at 19.12) 16.09 Km/h. Wind direction 77º. Latitude 28.4020157. Longitude: -16.3197689. Altitude: 22 m. Time Zone: GMT -1. Time 23.19.

I tried to make some changes. I put the units in °F, inches, miles, mph, inHg and then,  reboot the computer.

The result is the same. No data in "Heat Stress".

I have also installed "Cumulus" and "WeatherLink", because I have a second station "Davis VantageVUE".

Before I forgot, my OS is Windows 8.

Naturally! Why did not I think of this before? 19.78 °C (67.6 ºF) of outdoor temperature, causes no Heat Stress. Thank you very much. I lost all the Sunday installing and uninstalling weather programs.

I'll wait until August.

Warm regards from Tenerife, where I live since 2011. I was born in Karlskrona (Sweden). Åke is not a spanish name.
