Weatherlink connectivity after disconnect
« on: May 12, 2022, 07:27:18 PM »
Hey all,
I suspect I already know the answer, but I'm here for someone to prove me wrong.

The missus unplugged the USB cable from the 6510USB to the computer, about 2 weeks ago, to move the computer desk around.
Obviously, I have reconnected it and want to extract the stored data, but I'm guessing that I will have to do a cold reset to get it all connected again? Ornis there a way to get it to recognise the device again, (I see it inbdevice mngr, but weatherlink does not recognise it)

Cheers in advance,

Just make sure in device manager that it has not been assigned a different port number:

Device Manager>Ports (COM & LPT)>Silicon Labs CP210x to UART Bridge (COM#)

Replace # with what you actually see in Device Manager
IN WL under setup communications port make sure the com port # matches and you should be good to go.
