Expanding an image with it being the top layer
« on: September 09, 2012, 08:11:38 PM »
Hi folks,

Been toying with a possible new website design and have become stumped.  I am wanting to make the images on the left and right sides expand when you hover your mouse over them, then shrink when you remove the mouse, BUT with the expanded image being the top layer.  Hope that makes sense.  I've got the expanding and shrinking down, but the image comes up behind everything else.  I thought of the Flash issue with the flyout menus, but that doesn't work for Javascript.

Check here and hover your mouse over the GR3 Radar pic in the top left and you'll see:  Saline Weather

Thanks in advance for the help,

John

Hi LFWX,

I am actually using the Expandoimage, which works fine, but isn't the top layer.

Thanks for the suggestions,
