I just ordered a replacement temp/humidity sensor for my 10 year old station...  I will be changing out the old one once it arrives.  I will post if there are issues.

Got the sensor, and installed it.  Cleaned up the station as well...  All working again!  Thanks for the help...

You people need to chill out. I made my concern known. God forbid, it may not be yours. Ain't a damn thing "wrong" with that. Exactly the contrary.

Wow.. this is starting to sound like what was done for ReplayTV (SonicBlue/Panasonic) PVRs in the 2000s where the entire site was proxied so that channel guide data, show sharing, etc continued to work after shutdown.

Right, I see what you mean. If you step the date from 31st March to 1st April it starts at 01:00. Likewise, if you enter 1st April as the date, it starts at 00:00, but step to 31st March and it starts at 23:00. So, it is the stepping between DST change dates that is the problem, if you go directly to them in it OK. The page code is probably just requesting 24 hours' worth of data from the start/end of the current data.

The plotted data makes no account of the DST change on the day it happens, it just plots the time in the DST state the day starts for the whole day.

The bin file can be fetched directly for offline updates at:

https://osswww.ecowitt.net/ota/20240312/d0230943cdf23c9469244c49e32bc0e1.bin

How can I upload my GW2000 offline with this file?
It's not a simple but a more complex procedure where you have to create a fake website (sort of DNS spoofing) to sell a local file location as the ecowitt.com/ecowitt.net download location to the GW2000.

We are working on describing such a procedure for all the different devices and purposes (upgrade/downgrade) which will take some time. Once ready we will publish it in our WiKi.

OK but when I look at the graphs on the 31st March they show from 00:00 to 23:59, then I change the date to 1st April the graphs show from 01:00 to 23:59. If I just login and show today's data the time shows correctly as 00:00 to 23:59. They do get something wrong on change to DST.

Mark I'm talking about Ecowitt.net not the app or my gateway settings. I am unable to check the device settings until I'm back home.

So am I,  those are my ecowitt.net settings

There is something wrong on the Ecowitt site. Up to 31st March it shows graph times from 00:00 to 23:59 (should be 00:01 but lets ignore that) and from 1st April it shows 01:00 to 23:59. Makes no sense, UK DST started 01:00 on 31st March.

Mine correctly changed and still shows the graphs stating at 00:00. My settings are:

Custom Website Templates / Problem getting Wdisplay html 5&7 going after reinstall
« Last post by rrrick8 on April 20, 2024, 01:57:15 PM »
Had a major crash last week on my weather computer and User Account files got corrupted and couldn't get in and wound up just getting new cpu since old one was pushing 10 years.
Reinstalled Wdisplay and have almost everything back up to speed except creating wx5.html and wx7.html in the Internet File & Creation folder. Go thru the process on both pages but it just won't create the files in my Wdisplay folder and of course won't upload them then to my server. Been a good 15+ years since I set all this up and can't find any notes I might have made of the process back then. The pic shows it's working but it's not.
Thanks for any help.
