Recently purchased a GW2000, WS80 and WH40. Setup was surprisingly easy (using ethernet with GW2000). However, I cannot locate instructions to disable the GW2000 indoor T/H/P and display from the WS80. I'm using the Ecowitt app and web UI.

Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated,
Chris

I'm a little confused, you want to disable the GW2000 internal humidity/temp which are "indoor" and use the "outdoor" values from WS80 array, which show up as outdoor yet have them show up as indoor?

AFAIK, there is no way to swap in the outdoor values to replace the indoor values the GW2000 sends out. Other words, you can't remap outdoor to indoor.

Also, the WS80 does not measure pressure.

Now, if you are not seeing the outdoor values, that is a totally different issue.

1. Pressure is always measured indoors (and there's no difference to outdoors unless you live in a pressure chamber)
2. why don't you want to have the indoor t/RH readings ? - You don't need to publish them on ecowitt.net - you can mark them private
3. the WS80 T/RH is shown as outdoor T/RH
4. If you really don't want the GW2000 indoor sensors, you will have to unsolder (or more radically cut off) the cables which have the indoor T/RH sensor at their end
as a result the GW2000 will no longer show pressure either and will look for a WH32B indoor T/RH/P sensor to read data and display them - but then again you will have indoor T/RH ...
I think there is a misunderstanding of how the Weather station (GW2000+WH40+WS80) works (= what readings it shows) as @Rover1822 already assumed

Apologies for causing confusion. Yes, the issue is that I am not seeing the outdoor T/H from the WS80.

1. do you have the latest firmware for the GW2000 installed (2.2.3) ? - does the WS80 show as connected in the live data view (an ID should show with wind and solar - and ideally with the outdoor temperature) or on the sensorsID page of WS View Plus ?
2. in the WS View Plus app, sensorsID page (top right "More"): select "disable" for the WS80 (pictogram), save, and wait for the success message - then activate the sensor again
3. if it doesn't help, make a reset of the WS80 (press reset button for 5+ seconds --> manual)
4. if this doesn't help, make a hard reset: remove the batteries, cover the top tightly with black tape and wait until the blue LED stops blinking (can take up to 72 hours), then re-insert the batteries
5. if it still doesn't help - open the radiation shield (should be two screws) and check if the T/RH sensor is tightly connected
if it still doesn't work, write to support@ecowitt.com, tell what you have done without success and ask for a replacement
if you purchased via amazon.com, ask for replacement using their processes

Kemmett, are you seeing wind direction or wind speed from the WS80?

Edit, are you seeing anything from the WS80, UV, solar, wind etc.

@Gyvate, @Rover1822
Thank you both for your suggestions.
Yes: I am seeing UV, solar and wind

@Gyvate
1. Yes, its firmware @2.2.3 EDIT: the sensor ID is only showing for wind, not solar
2. Disable and re-enable didn't result in a change
3. I'll pop up the ladder and reset. EDIT: reset didn't work
EDIT 4. Doing a hard reset now

EDIT
5. It was this: the T/RH sensor was not correctly fitted. I'm seeing outdoor T/RH now and the WS80 ID on both outdoor and wind in WSView Plus.
For others with this issue: It wasn't too obvious that the sensor was loose. It moved a little when touched, then came out quite easily when lifted. There is a small cutout in the housing that a tab on the sensor appeared to be designed to fit in. When I replaced the sensor, I aligned the tab with the cutout and pushed the base of the sensor with two small blunt pieces of metal (too small for my big fingers). The sensor settled completely into the cutout and was much firmer after this.

Thank you both @Gyvate, and @Rover1822 for your help.
