No, I am not going to shut down my WU stations. Yes the webcam pics have stopped and disappeared, and that is disappointing, but that was in the cards a few years ago. It was good when it was.
Weather Underground does provide a good means for uploading PWS data, and a nice display and historical data access. I can usually find a WU PWS anywhere in the world to check on what is the weather there. I can also set my watering system to use my own WU data to control it during local rain.
Maybe not what it once was or not to everyone's expectation, but still as good as any other out there.
