Alternatives to WU?

When I first got into weather reporting, Weather Underground was all there was.  I hear that there are now alternatives that are easier to use. 

I don't need webcam hosting, though might be a future consideration.  My biggest beef with WU is that it does not allow me to set the name of my location.  Its unalterable default is a nonsensical name that no one has ever heard of.

So what do people recommend that is a similar concept to WU (i.e. PWSs contributing data that is displayed in a map format), that is free and easy to use?  Preferably something that interfaces easily with Weather Display.

None are quite the same or extensive as Weather Underground, but several do provide PWS data and some include a map, and some have webcam option.  These are independent sites from the station manufacturer/seller:

PWS Weather
Met Office WOW
APRS/CWOP
AWEKAS
WeatherCloud
OpenWeatherMap
Windguru

Weatherlink.com Map is a great way to see Davis stations data around the world.
