Common.php

So today I ran the check-fetch updater and updated all the files my page would only load halfway(no body) I dropped the "old" common.php file in and all works again as it should any ideas what might be causing this?

You surely have a customized 'common.php'.  Can you use a file compare utility such as 'CompareIt!' to bring your customization(s) into the new 'common.php'?  It will be a bit of a chore because you will need to keep Ken's latest modifications to 'common.php' while incorporating the mods from your old 'common.php'.
