Metar Reports not displaying correctly
« on: February 15, 2021, 04:46:29 PM »
Hey Folks,

My Metar Reports are displaying outside the normal boundaries. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The right side edge of the 'normal' page. In the pic bellow, it would be where the footer ends.
I guess I'm not explaining it well.

Well, whatever it was, it is gone. The page is now displaying correctly.
It was a one hour phenomenon.  Maybe one of the moderators can delete this post.

The stretch of the right-hand image is due to the long string in the RMK section of the raw METAR report.  Since it doesn't have any spaces in it, the browser can't 'fold' it to multiple lines, so it expands the display box to show it all.  That's normal browser behavior (but a fairly abnormal METAR string).

Yes, and now that I've examined it, the middle line is nothing but apparent gibberish...and if it's not, the observer needs to lay off the caffeine.
