Predicting Stormy Weather

(1/1)

Farmtalk:
Here are a few folklores that I thought were worth sharing related to stormy weather:

If a rooster crows at night, there will be rain by morning.

If cows lie down and refuse to go to pasture, you can expect a storm to blow up soon.

Birds on a telephone wire predict the coming of rain.

Pigs gather leaves and straw before a storm.

When dogs eat grass, you can expect a severe storm.

William Grimsley:
Yes, some very good folklore there! :D
