Question about ecowittModules Meteotemplate block from iz0qwm
« on: August 01, 2021, 08:49:59 PM »
I am using his lightningew and air quality blocks and they are working great!  feeding data to Meteotemplate from FOSHKplugin at the moment.  Looking through the php, it looks like it should populate since "I think" all the necessary values are there.  I am sure I am missing something as it has been the story of the day.

Code: [Select]
{"U":1627865234,"TIN":27.5,"HIN":42,"P":981.71,"UGP":981.71,"B":248,"W":0,"G":0,"S":0,"UV":0,"RR":0,"R":0,"T1":28.5,"H1":66,"PP1":10,"LT":1627845940,"L":14,"LD":10,"WBAT":"OK","T1BAT":"OK","PM1BAT":"OK","LBAT":"OK","SS":1.08,"SW":"FOSHKplugin-v0.08","UTime":1627865236,"TINTime":1627865236,"HINTime":1627865236,"PTime":1627865236,"UGPTime":1627865236,"BTime":1627865236,"WTime":1627865236,"GTime":1627865236,"STime":1627865236,"UVTime":1627865236,"RRTime":1627865236,"RTime":1627865236,"T1Time":1627865236,"H1Time":1627865236,"PP1Time":1627865236,"LTTime":1627865236,"LTime":1627865236,"LDTime":1627865236,"WBATTime":1627865236,"T1BATTime":1627865236,"PM1BATTime":1627865236,"LBATTime":1627865236,"SSTime":1627865236,"SWTime":1627865236,"T":28.5,"TMX":28.5,"TMN":28.5,"H":66,"PP0":10,"TTime":1627865166,"TMXTime":1627865166,"TMNTime":1627865166,"HTime":1627865166,"PP0Time":1627865166,"D":21.5,"DTime":1627865236,"A":32.9,"ATime":1627865236}

Question: should this block be showing data as active with the above meteotemplateLive.txt?

ps. I know the block works as I temporarily set up his ecowitt gateway, it worked like a champ and was awesome)

No, the ecowittModules block will work only in conjunction with the ecowitt plugin ( as it defines differently a few fields that are checked by the ecovittModules block, particularly the batteries fields should be numeric ).
If you want to use this way ( I mean: weather station->FOSHKplugin->meteotemplate ) you have to configure FOSHKplugin to forward data to the ecowitt plugin in ecowitt format

I have updated both block and plugin ( you may find them in the meteotemplate forum, in the respective subforums ) to include all ecowitt sensors and 'a few' other things ( such as virtual sensors and sensor rename ).
But the two versions are now incompatible: so if you want to install the iz0qwm ecowitt plugin you have to use his ecowittModules block ( and if you want to use my ecowitt plugin you have to use my ecowittModules block )

Thank you sir!  I got them installed and the block read data right away from FOSHKplugin feeding of the meteotemplateLive.txt.

I'm all activated on meteotemplate forum! so I'll start asking silly questions there =P

Thank you for your code and help!

Yes, but is quite outdated ( it generally points to the meteotemplate forum )
