I noticed in the same field as the sea level entry, there is also a field for "sea-level barometer." What are we to put there? The sea-level pressure? I think that is 29.92? What purpose does that field serve? Part of pressure calculations?
CW2274:
With the Vue you can choose SLP, altimeter setting, or none, which is raw, don't want that. All you need is the height of your console above sea level (try to be accurate within at least 10 ft or so), enter that value into the console and select which reduction you prefer (REDUCE BAR NOAA, which is SLP, or ALT SET). The console does all the work after that, no outside comparison is needed. You can fine tune it further if desired, but I find it's spot on without it.

jcookjr82,
I'm curious and I would like to request a screenshot of the configuration you are seeing.

I believe he’s referring to the setup-settings of the Davis Vantage Vue Console itself rather than any WFL setup-setting. It’s the same on the Vantage Pro2 Console.

That was my assumption as well. However, as silly as it is, the VP2 console does not have the option of the altimeter setting like the Vue console does.
