I am looking to run two (but maybe three) cameras. I want to use 1 piece of software with the lowest CPU impact possible. The cameras will probably be of different brands. I want 1 cam to take an image every 30 minutes, the others every 1 or 2 minutes. I dont need FTP I just want to save the image as a jpg I have other methods of doing the FTP.

IPTimelapse from SebecTec (my software) can do that.  It is low CPU as it does not stream the video - just get the snapshot at the interval you need.  sebectec.com/ipcam

I have sought of solved my problem, I had a license for WEB cam XP and had lost my license code, I saw a post that suggested emailing them and it worked so now I have that running, Gives less impact on CPU than i expected.

If you ever need cam software that you can time lapse with..... I highly recommend IPTimelapse from Sebectec.

Mike provides excellent product support and the software is flawless IMO.
