... We had a problem with a server today at 6:00 UTC. It will take some time until everything is up and running again. 
On map.blitzortung.org I had temporarily deactivate the satellite map for licensing reasons. The license has expired and the prices have been increased. ...  I'm looking for another solution....

"MapTiler" has laid on an outrageous yearly subscription fee... no excuse for this BS. Companies have gone nuts.
...although I note that, DESPITE the current mid-east situation, local gasoline went DOWN 30 cents a gal.... go figure.

Looks like it's $1500 per year. Crazy for a nonprofit.

However, lightningmaps.org seems to be working fine, and with the the map working.

Don't you think BT has >100 Monthly Active Users???  Naw... in the $5800 or contract range, I suspect.  Totally different auxiliary website... using Leaflet, a different mapping system all together.  Leaflet itself MAY be uncertain... not sure what the latest is, though there is a large group of maintainers... MapTiler powered those good satellite, and other imagery tiles ...
