RED System - current PCB board versions?
« on: June 11, 2014, 02:37:03 PM »
I am preparing to update my step-by-step RED assembly document so it is correct for current boards and components. However, I need to know if I have the correct information for the latest versions of the Controller and Amplifier boards.

  • Current RED Step-by-Step Document is written for the following level boards and component lists:
    • Amplifier - PCB 12 Ver. 3 * 7/2013
    • Controller - PCB 10 Ver. 3b * 8/2013
  • Proposed RED Step-by-Step Document will be written for the following level boards and component lists:
    • Amplifier - PCB 12 Ver. 3c * 8/2013
    • Controller - PCB 10 Ver. 4 * 11/2013

Please let me know if anyone knows of any later versions of either board now being distributed.

I received the following from Egon about 10 days ago and the board version are as follows:

Controller - PCB 10 Ver 4 11/2013
Amplifier (Ferrite) - PCB 12 Ver 3c 8/2013

Amplifier (Efield) - PCB 13 Ver 1b 4/2013
Amplifier (Efield) - PCB 14 Ver 1b 4/2014

The PCB 13 Efield amp is very similar to the PCB 12, so most of the instructions for this would be the same.

Hope it's of some help.
