ftp issues WD & Cumulus
(1/1)

Not exactly sure what my issue seems to be telling me. Running WD & Cumulus on the same computer both using my Tempest station for data. If I run either WD or Cumulus by itself then no issue. But if I run both at the same time I have problems. Screen shot attached. Appears to be a conflict with ftp so I'm looking for a solution/idea to allow both programs to run on the same computer. Is there a difference between ftp and realtimeftp processes?
I'm fairly sure Tempest data comes from the WxFlow servers...and my websites are hosted on different servers...so the only conclusion I can come up with is the ftp process on the computer can only be used by one program at a time. So is it possible to have WD & Cumulus sleep and just wake up, send data, then go back to sleep? Or will Win10 "lock" the ftp process so the program that owns it will have access when needed?

I'm not sure what the problem is but it can be done. I'm running on Windows 11.
I'm running WD and Cumulus on the same computer. I upload both to one server without any problems.
I do use the php upload option in Cumulus instead of the ftp upload.

It could be your hosting company only allows a few concurrent FTP connections? Cumulus uses two.

I think the php upload is working...fingers crossed. Thanks for the idea.
