Time Stamp
« on: August 08, 2022, 10:59:15 AM »
I have a VP2+ connected USB to an Ambient Meteobridge uploading FTP to my provider.  For the past few months I have noticed my upload time stamp bouncing from current time to time to several min. up to an hour late and back to current time.  I can't figure out what is causing this. https://castletonweather.net/

A FTP upload usually creates quite some load at the receiving end. Depending on your posting interval, your provider might limit these uploads or may interprete them as DDoS attacks ...

The FTP uploads are fine along w/ my HTTP uploads which is set to upload every 5 sec. I also have my reltime update to PWS set to update every 5sec and it is doing the same thing there. I might need to talk to my ISP (COX) to see if they are treating my live updates out as a DDoS.  What is strange is that you think it would be a latency issue, as it is at times but my my update times on my web siite revert to past time then to current time.
