Topic: Acurite Iris Rain gauge

Hello I just bought an Acurite Iris weather station the sensor which is came with is mounted and level. However we have not had any rain and each day the rain gauge will creep up to about .44 inches or rain. I attempted to adjust the screws which resulted in the rain amount increasing. So what is my next step what do i need to do exactly to get it down to 0.0 and be accurate because again it slowly creeps up during the day about every 10 minutes until it reaches that .44 amount but it has been bone dry outside. Thanks.

Honestly, get your money back. Acurite is on the way out, IMHO. Just too many issues and limitations.
