Painfully Slow Page Load
« on: June 28, 2020, 06:11:22 AM »
Since the new update on the wxindex.php I'm having painfully slow page loads. I ran gtmetrix and the image resize from the homepage seems to be part of the issue - https://gtmetrix.com/reports/atglenweather.com/dp1qZQpb

Any suggestions?

UPDATE - The page is loading much faster.  I'm not sure what the issue was but the load time on my end is like night and day faster...

I notice my Cumulus version is slower than my WD version.  I think it has to do with the script polling the NWS for some data, and NWS is running slow.

WD uses my UV and Solar rad to get sky conditions.  Cumulus gets the conditions from NWS.
