Topic: NOAA Reports

I'm running both Cumulus MX and Weather Display side by side.  Sometimes I like to flip back and forth.  But when I switch to WD, my NOAA reports page doesn't load.  I changed the flyout menu file so that it shows up when I run WD.  But when I go to the link, I get "NOAA-style climate reports not available."

Is there a trick to force it to always use my Cumulus NOAA reports page?

The wxnoaareports.php page takes it's cue for what to do from the Cumulus Settings-weather.php setting -- when your're running with WD Settings-weather.php, the Cumulus settings are not available to the script.

You can likely 'fake it out' by including the contents of the Cumulus Settings-weather.php into the wxnoaareports.php page before the include("include-NOAA-reports.php"); is done.

Specifically, you'll need

$SITE['NOAAdir']        = './Reports/';   // relative location of the NOAA report files
$SITE['WXsoftware']     = 'CU';
to force the script to find your NOAA reports and process them.

Got it to work.  I had to stick it right after the showGizmo line to make it work.
