Btw... today is a special day Ken, you obviously are very smart, since you were born on this day

Today, 28th October, is when we celebrate the Day of Independence in the Czech Republic (too bad you dont live here, you would always have a day off on your birthday) and it is also the 500th day after Meteotemplate was released today

Either way, it definitely was a good choice to be born on this day

Once again, thanks and I hope you enjoy it with your family and friends!!!

Thanks to y'all for the birthday greetings and appellations. $\:D/$

It was a fine, low-key celebration. My 4yr old grandaughter helped my wife make the birthday cake (lots of sprinkles per grandaughter's recommendation, and only 1 candle per my recommendation). We went to The Counter where I had an Old School 1/3lb cheddar cheeseburger/sweet potato fries/chocolate shake caloric excess (not to be soon repeated) and it was delicious

The clock has ticked into the 7th decade now, but fortunately, health and family health are still here so I'll continue to enjoy the weather/programming hobby for more time.

Thanks for all the birthday greetings. It was a great day. I spent the 27th and 28th binge watching Stranger Things 2 on Netflix. My wife took me to a great lunch (did I mention there was Key Lime pie involved). I received calls from grandchildren and was serenaded by our daughter's family and inlaws. Also, a feast of Sheri’s Berrys dark chocolate covered strawberries arrived as a wonderful surprise. Later, l sang the first of two concerts with Schola Cantorum Silicon Valley in tux with some Dracula mods—cape and fangs with orange bow tie. The fangs were removed for singing (otherwise caused a large lisp). A really good and wonderful day.

I fear I'm a refutation to the 'are better at sports' claim. Never was any good at any sport in schools (or afterwards) -- poor hand/eye coordination I think. Nevertheless, we nerds can laugh all the way to the bank (and back)
